Refractions of Sound
Friday, August 28, 2026
Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art
Dr. Ron & Donna Patton, Co-Chairs
Celebrate Te Deum’s artistry and the transformative power of choral music at Lumine, Te Deum’s signature fundraising event. Lumine offers a fusion of music, art, and upscale dining, raising vital support for our professional singers and allowing us to inspire and enrich Kansas City through compelling and thought-provoking performances.
This year’s Lumine theme is Refractions of Sound, an immersive artistic experience unlike any other. Guests will experience a live choral performance in a museum gallery, where sound will bend, reflect, and shimmer through the architecture and surrounding art. The evening will begin at 6 pm with cocktails, followed by a performance. Then sponsors and their guests will continue with an elegant, seated dinner in the museum’s Atrium and cafe crafted by the award-winning chef Ted Habiger, of Oil on Linen.
